I was reading this morning in "Morning and Evening" and it said:
" His (Jesus) mother has been described simply as "the virgin", not a princess or a prophetess, nor a woman of influence. True, the blood of kinds ran in her veins; and her mind was not weak or untaught, for she could sweetly sing a song of praise. Yet how humble her position, how poor the man to whom she was engaged, and how miserable the accommodation provided for the newborn King!"
This blew my mind. It showed me just how important the woman is. God came to earth with us to save us for dishonoring him. This blows me away in so many ways. So much so that it leaves me speechless at this moment...
